So Trevin brings home those wonderful beginning readers we all love to listen our children read. Last night he was reading to Rick and stopped cold in his tracks, "This book is nasty!" he yelled. He had been reading a short a book and "Max" and his "gal pal" ran into the sack. He paused for a minute and asked Rick if pal meant friend. Rick said yes and it was all over. Trevin ws NOT going to read about a boy having a girl friend!! We all got a laugh over it, thought I'd share it.

Tribute

This is an article the Western FolkLife Center put in their programs this year. JoAnn volunteered for the Cowboy Poetry gathering in Elko for years. We appreciate their thoughfulness...

We're Back
Not that we've really gone anywhere, BUT I think things are getting back to normal any way. We had a great holiday, there were some empty spots that can't be filled, but all in all, things are healing well. We enjoyed visiting with family who travelled for hours to come to Utah and the kids loved getting re-aquainted with cousins. I will post more with some pictures when I am at home ( I am posting this at work --son't tell my boss, I'd hate to get fired) I just wanted you all to know that we're still here...AND if all goes well, I will be sending out our holiday cards this week. Just one way i hope our family can help you spread the holiday cheer throughout your whole year. (Those of you who know me really know I'm just slow this year)
