softball

Well, softball is considered a spring sport at our high school (meaning it gets no funding) but it would be nice if the weather would agree and actually ACT like spring. Here is Britany playing in the cold and on a sunny day. You will notice the picture of her sliding in to home she has her hand up to protect her "owey" finger. She gotten teased about that one.

arrow of light

We are so proud of Layne tonight. He received his Arrow of Light at pac meeting. As far as Rick and I know, he is the first Coil to receive this honor. Hopefully this will be the starting of a tradition for the Coils. Here he is with the Pac Leader and his Dad...

Vacancy

Well, our house is back to its regular occupancy today. As Amie has pointed out our rates are cheap, so anyone is welcome anytime! I am just glad that things are settling down alittle bit for everyone. It is so comforting to know that whenever you need your family they are there. Thanks mom and dad for teaching us the importance of sticking together and helping each other out, it makes for one great family!

New Calling

Well, some of you may or may not know that I have a new calling. I am the Stake Primary President. It is lots of new things to learn and I have a great presidency to work with and a great family to support me.

Maybe some of you might also be able to help. I have a leadership training meeting in 2 weeks, it is the one for all the ward primary presidencies. I really want them to go home feeling spiritually fed and strengthened. Hopefully realizing how important it is to nurture themselves everyday. The theme is taken from a talk by Pres.Monsen : Search Inward, Reach Outward, Look Heavenward. I would LOVE ideas from all of you. Just thoughts on what you do to get through your days, the good and the bad. If you have time I would love to hear from you. Thanks.

Hotel Coil

Well, we have changed guests here at the Hotel Coil. I took Zion to meet his dad last night in Heber (Sam is doing much better) and I switched out car seats and brought Jennylin and Eric's kids back with me. (they are flying to Oregon for Eric's dad's burial).

We are doing great, we miss Zion though. But it sure was neat to see how excited he was to be with his daddy again. Bryson only likes me if Ashley is in sight, she is a trooper and will be a wonderful mom someday.

The weather is great here today and so the kids are having a ball outside.

A Busy Week

Most of you know about Jeremy and Mindy's little Sam being sick. If you want more info you can use my link to their blog.

We have Zion for the week(or longer) and it has been fun to have a "little body" in our house. He is having fun with all the extra attention from the kids. Today at dinner he said "I like your food!" such a cutie.

We are glad to help out in any way we can. Our prayers are with Sam and his mom and dad. We are grateful he is getting the care he needs and will be feeling better soon!
